This establishment opened its doors in 1966 and was the city’s first Chinese restaurant, at a time when Chinese food was an unknown exoticism. It kept the traditional Chinese cuisine and resisted the competition, which decades later would be installed in the city. The business has been in the same family since its inception since Mr. Chow Horng Tzer founded it. It is also known as the “Bridge Chinese” because it is located next to the upper deck of D. Luís Bridge with views of the Douro river and “Serra do Pilar” monastery on the other side. We maintain the typical Chinese cuisine, highlighting the most sought after classics by regular customers: Peking Duck, Shrimp Dim Sum, Beef on the plate, among others.

Portologia, Casa do Porto, is an ode to the wines of Portugal. A winery, wine bar and tasting house, this venue offers a sophisticated selection of over 200 Port and Douro wines, with special emphasis on small producers. With open spaces in Paris, Lisbon and of course in Porto, Julien dos Santos, owner of the shops and producer of his own Port wine, the Portuguese businessman has a devotion to Port wine, but also to other gourmet products like cheese and cold cuts and, during the summer season, with the Parisian exodus, Julien and his teams follow in their footsteps, concentrating their work in Portugal, in shops and in the vintage.

Located in the heart of downtown Porto, on the famous Rua 31 de Janeiro, Cervacafé Restaurante is a pleasant establishment, where it is possible to taste the best of traditional Portuguese cuisine, through specialties such as the famous francesinhas and “cozido à portuguesa” (Portuguese stew), also offering in our à la carte options such as salads and “tapas”, among other snacks. At the end of the meal, you can also try various homemade desserts. In addition to the various gastronomic options, this establishment makes careful service and the quality / price ratio the basis of the service that it puts at the customer’s disposal.
