The Casa Pinheiro is a traditional tavern in Porto, over 60 years old, which aims to preserve the customs of this type of houses in the city and preserve the homemade flavours. Moreda owes its name to Manuel Francisco Moreda, a former councilor of the Oporto Chamber and member of the Porto Trade Association, who in 1860 opened a fig brandy distillery, which later evolved into the wider trade of wines and white drinks. Casa Coração de Jesus (House Heart of Jesus) has existed since 1885 and has been in the same family for four generations.
