They are located about 2 minutes from the Trindade underground station. Its specialties are the octopus and codfish dishes, the ‘Tripas à moda do Porto’ (the most representative dish of Porto that dates back to the time of the Portuguese Discoveries is cooked with tripe and fat meat, accompanied with thick slices of dark bread; today instead of bread white beans are used), the famous Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish) and its sangria. Every day there are new dishes, which can be tasted at lunch, in menus at competitive prices.

The flavors of Hawaii are in Porto. FixeBowl is specialized in the “poke bowl”, a dish that has Hawaiian origin and Japanese inspiration, with raw fish, sushi rice, seeds and vegetables in the mix. In a typical Hawaiian environment, all that is missing is the smell of the beach. Among the “poke bowls” there is a choice between eight combinations, created by Pauline and Amanda, the owners, with oriental, Brazilian and Australian influences. The Tropical bowl is the most popular choice, made with a sushi rice base, with salmon, ginger, cucumber, carrot, red onion, leek, mango, tobiko (flying fish eggs) and sesame sauce. You can always make your own “poke”.

Ponto 2 is the second space of the owners of Leza, a well-known traditional bakery in operation since 2004 in Leça da Palmeira. Here you can sample 24 varieties of bread, croissants, assorted cakes or toasts, served with various side dishes and fillings. It also has a wide range of coffees and other hot drinks. It is a cozy space that until 2008 was a lamp shop. Today it has a clean and modern decoration, where sometimes temporary exhibitions take place. It also has a nice terrace for good weather. Its complete and affordable brunch menus, available on Saturdays and holidays, are already famous and just another attraction for visiting Ponto 2.

If you are looking for a place to take a break, to relax, to work a little at the computer, to study, to socialise, to have a cup of coffee, or a drink to regain strength, or a snack to tuck in, or a full meal at competitive prices, Café Ponche can be a serious candidate for those choices. Café Ponche bets on traditional Portuguese cuisine in the confection of its meals and suggests its customers to taste its speciality, the ‘Tripas à moda do Porto’ (the most representative dish of Porto that dates back to the time of the Portuguese Discoveries is cooked with tripe and fat meat, accompanied with thick slices of dark bread; today instead of bread white beans are used). The space is pleasant and welcoming, having, besides the interior space, an outer ne.
