Confeitaria do Bolhão is a century-old house founded in 1896 that retains its original features, structures and colors, specific to Art Nouveau architecture. It is a bakery and pastries of its own manufacture and with buns coming out all day, with the sponge cake the specialty of the house. The establishment has a snack bar room where the guest is welcomed in a pleasant and cozy atmosphere and, on the ground floor, a buffet and à la carte restaurant. Heaven’s Social Club opened, in 1983, as a discotheque and still works as such, keeping faithful to the musical styles it promotes: rock, gothic rock and metal. In 2011, the space was remodelled and it also started to work as a concert hall and as a café bar. With music in the centre of attention, its products also stand out, such as beer, always cold, and the wide variety of cocktails, such as mojitos, caipirinhas and daiquiris of various flavours. Heaven’s Social Club also has a menu with ‘preguinhos’ (beef steak sandwich), Francesinhas (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish), hamburgers, kebabs, among others. Since the beginning the concern is to provide the best conditions for the benefit of customers, hence the constant evolution.

Restaurante Verde Minho serves traditional Portuguese food. You can taste in the same space the famous Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish), or a tasty fish, or a meat dish, accompanied by a good wine. The menu has a generous offer, which can vary depending on the day, but you will always find a choice of soup, fish dishes, such as grilled bream or ‘codfish à Braga’ (fried codfish, served with a lot of onions, chips and pickles), meat dishes, such as ‘feijoada à Transmontana’ (a Portuguese dish prepared with red beans or large white beans, ears, snout and smoked pork and various types of sausages; it can take tomatoes, cabbage, carrots and other seasonings; it is usually accompanied by white rice), veal small steaks, black pork steaks, veal cutlet with potatoes cooked in their skin, laminated picanha, grilled veal on a stick or cutlet, among others.
