For over 50 years serving the city of Porto, Cancela Velha is a cafe specialized in meals and all kinds of snacks. Very close to the busy Avenida dos Aliados, in this establishment the main attraction is the very typical francesinha. Those who prefer other options have at their disposal the toasts, hamburgers, dogs and sandwiches menu. Cancela Velha also offers its customers a cafeteria service, which, together with its fast and efficient service and its welcoming space, make this an ideal place for a quicker lunch, for your breakfast or even for a mid-afternoon snack.

Doce Alto is a confectionery originally founded on December 19, 1983. Present in a sector still underexplored at the time, it quickly stood out from other competitors due to the incessant pursuit of offering products and services of recognized quality, striving equally for exceptional service. With a loyal clientele, Doce Alto is constantly seeking to modernize itself, keeping it as the first choice for those looking for quality in the Greater Porto pastry shops. It currently has six establishments throughout the city, having won several awards nationwide that prove the excellence of its service.

The Hand Go opened in 2015 as a grab and go space, to pick up and take away. In a city that is becoming more and more crowded and where people increasingly run from one place to another, this establishment fits into this daily rhythm. It is to enter, ask and leave. The worst that can happen is to have to stop and savour it. That and having to choose. There is a running counter in the shop, where the pizzas of the day are displayed, healthy and served by slice, but there are also healthier options, such as vegetarian crepes, sweets or savouries, fresh salads, with Cesar, Pesto and Vegan versions, pancakes, fruit salads and natural juices to accompany. Hand Go does not want you to lose sight of it, but it also does not want you to forget to eat.

If we went into a cafe in the 80s of the 20th century, it was rare that there was no pool table. This sport, allegedly created in the 15th century, had its first great Portuguese champion in 1936, named Alfredo Ferraz. In Portugal there was no billiards, not least because the Portuguese champion competed for the title while enrolled in the Spanish Federation, but what is certain is that it has become one of Portuguese favorite sports. Snooker Café is one of the few places where you can enjoy this sport, as well as having breakfast, lunch, snacks and having a meal. It has varied pastries and snacks, hot dogs, sandwiches, francesinha and a generous list of drinks.
