Founded by friends Carlos Torres and Albano Morais, Pim Pão Pum has a funny name that stays in the ear, which refers to a childlike and nostalgic imagination that we all identify with, and also to its main product: bread. In 2010, with the will to overcome the crisis, the brand ‘Sushi em tua casa’ (Sushi in your home) is born. After homemade sushi experiences, the result was so positive that the chance to commercialise the art of the creator arose. From the grandmother’s house to an industrial kitchen, after two years it became small. A super kitchen was opened, with a service area, biological garden and more recently a photographic studio. Naturally, the expansion happened. They have nine houses all over the country, with the guarantee that the sushimen are trained by the mentor and in constant communication, ensuring that the technical specifications of the products are followed to the letter. The products are natural and healthy, with freshly prepared pieces and fresh ingredients.

Mengos was born in 1978, in Porto city center, in the typical commercial area of the city. The name is due to the father of the owner who, having been emigrated in Brazil, became a fan of the Flamengo football club and hence the name of the establishment. Currently Mengos Pastelaria e Restaurante bets on the quality of products and customer service, maintaining its values, history and tradition.
