Peneira – Padaria Artesanal opened its doors in March 2020 in a context that, as everyone knows, was not the most favourable one. However, it did not fail to provide bread, the protagonist of this space, delivering door to door, inside and outside Porto. Belonging to the owners of Intrigo, Peneira is a natural fermentation bakery overlooking the river. Every day there are different types of bread: wheat bread is always present, but you can also find carob bread, seed bread, sweet potato bread, rye bread, among others. You can buy and take home or taste them at the establishment. There are also cinnamon rolls, croissants and muffins made with several hours of fermentation.

Installed in a round building adorned with typical Portuguese tiles is Café Ponche. If you are looking for a place to take a break, to relax, to work a little at the computer, to study, to socialise, to have a cup of coffee, or a drink to regain strength, or a snack to tuck in, or a full meal at competitive prices, Café Ponche can be a serious candidate for those choices. Café Ponche bets on traditional Portuguese cuisine in the confection of its meals and suggests its customers to taste its speciality, the ‘Tripas à moda do Porto’ (the most representative dish of Porto that dates back to the time of the Portuguese Discoveries is cooked with tripe and fat meat, accompanied with thick slices of dark bread; today instead of bread white beans are used). The space is pleasant and welcoming, having, besides the interior space, an outer ne.

Confectionery with a history of 44 years. The owners came from Angola, where they had a confectionery of the same name founded in 1970, and in 1975 opened Nandinha in Porto. It is a family confectionery, which has as its specialty the little cakes with egg puff pastry, the king cake (normal, puff and dried fruit), Hungarian sweets, almonds, brigadeiros, sweet and yarn and its award-winning Berlin balls, among many others. They also make delicious cakes with creative design for all occasions. In addition to the confectionery, they serve lunches, including salads, omelets and hamburgers.
