Tram, a restaurant in the heart of old town, features modern décor in a warm atmosphere and a splendid outdoor terrace overlooking the Douro River. Its menu is rooted in traditional Italian and Portuguese cuisine in a contemporary approach. In order to please its customers, Tram’s focus is essentially on pizzas, risottos, pastas and specialties such as Francesinha, “bacalhau com broa” (codfish), pork knuckle, among others. As a tribute to his professional career in the Basque country, “Euskalduna” – “Basque” in Basque – was the name chosen by Chef Vasco Coelho Santos, in this project of contemporary author cuisine. In the restaurant, the Chef and his team invite diners to enter their creative space and share a gastronomic journey in the intimacy of the counter and the two tables, in an Omakase concept. In an accomplice, welcoming and sharing environment, the team combines creativity, technique and breaking barriers, making the haute cuisine a fun and appealing experience for the five senses. The tasting menu stands out, with dishes like “Gamba, Mango & Curry” or the interpretation of “Rojões & Morcela”.

Porto In A Bottle is a wine cellar which was born in the historical centre of Porto in 2013, in the renovated Rua das Flores. It offers a new concept of wine shop, where the most representative drinks of this region are selected and promoted. The option was clear: to have only Douro and Minho wines. You can find several drinks, such as Port wine, table wines (Verde, White, Red and Rosé), sparkling wines, brandies, ‘ginginhas’, several liqueurs and some objects related to wine. Some of its products are exclusive and for this reason they have already been highlighted in some national and international press articles, such as the New York Times, Hurriyet (Turkey), Globo (Brazil), among others.

Set in a historical area of Porto, Linos Marquês cafeteria and restaurant integrates the spirit and pulse of the city of today, bringing together traditional values mixed with those of the current century. The modern decoration integrates traditional elements, giving the space a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. The offer is varied, both regarding the cafeteria and the restaurant. Their own production of pastry invites the tasting of sweet treats, such as ‘pão de ló de Ovar’ (similar to sponge cake; this version is wet), marble cake, ‘toucinho do céu’ (traditional dessert from Portugal and Spain, with an intense yellow colour; based on eggs and sugar, it originated in convents, the reason for the collective denomination of conventual sweets of this category; it consists of a kind of cake made with pearl sugar to which ground almonds are sometimes added, sometimes gila jam and finally a large portion of egg yolks. The name (literally bacon from Heaven) is due to the fact that the original version has lard as ingredient), among others, as well as the confection of its dishes, based on the tradition of Portuguese cuisine, there are new dishes every day and not missing the famous Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish).
