Sai Cão is a traditional Portuguese food restaurant. With daily dishes at competitive prices, with menus that include bread, soup, main course and drink. However, the lead role of Sai Cão is really its ‘posta à Mirandesa’ (thick heavy beef steak), which, according to many customers, is considered the best in town, accompanied with potatoes, rice and salad. Astro Cervejaria Petisqueira has been in Porto since 1979 and says its slogan that here you can find the “real bifanas”. It is the ex-libris of O’Astro. Going here and not eating a bifana is like going to Porto once in a lifetime and not drinking a port. According to the owner, Mr. Albino, also the green broth is at the level of the bifanas, because “there is no time of day when it is not fresh, hot and ready to eat”. There are also other snacks to try, such as ham sandwiches, beef patties, shrimp patties, cod pastries, and breadcrumbs.
