Teppan Sushi & Teppanyaki

Teppan Sushi & Teppanyaki opened here in 2012, after the success of the first space in the Edifício Transparente. It offers a classic sushi and fusion alternative of high quality, combined with Japanese hot dishes, grilled in the traditional teppanyaki plate and made by the chef, in show cooking, with the ingredients and spices selected by the customer. At lunch you will have a wide variety of sushi and teppanyaki at its free buffet, where you can eat as much as you like. At dinner we suggest two options, no restrictions, the first with classic sushi and teppanyaki and the second with classic sushi, hot sushi and teppanyaki. There is also the option to choose from other specialities.

Japanese cuisine.

Capela Incomum is a Wine Bar that finds its home in a former 19th Century Chapel, located in the heart of the bustling Cedofeita district.
This space has carefully selected wines from the most diverse producing regions in Portugal, with special focus on the Douro and Minho areas.
Accompanying the wine is a wide variety of appetizers, cheeses and sausages. With a markedly intimate character, Capela Incomum also bets on the promotion of wine tasting and Fado (music) nights.

The owner’s name is Eugenia and the history of her café is a “funny” one: she worked in a school nearby, but she did not like working there very much. She took care of the children when they were on their break, but while during school hours her work was more quiet. Bored, but still without another job in sight, she found herself forced to find an escape as an excuse to get out of there. One day, while passing through the street of Bonjardim, she saw a shop that was about to wander and thought she could open a café in that space, betting on her homemade dumplings, something she loved to do. And so Geninha appeared, the name by which she was called at school, where she could share her cakes and snacks.
