Café is based on regional products: ‘cristas e covilhetes’(traditional regional pastry) of Vila Real, ‘rabanadas’ of Póvoa (traditional sweet similar to a French toast) and bread of Penafiel baked in a wood-fired oven, are some of the examples that delight customers. With its eyes on the future and its concerns with other lifestyles, the house also cooks pastries and dishes of the day with vegan and vegetarian recipes.
