The Dom Fafe take-away barbecue presents itself in the context of the restoration of Porto with the goal of providing its clients with an unforgettable experience, full of flavour, surrounded by refinement, with a touch of inspiration, where every detail is appreciated and felt. The bet goes through the traditional Portuguese cuisine, with a lot of grill. The menu includes meat options, such as barbecue chicken, grilled ribs, pork spare ribs, veal on the stick, black pork medallions, sirloin steak, among others, having also fish options, such as codfish with corn bread, codfish “à Braga” (fried codfish served with chips and fried sliced onions)or grilled sea bass. There is also the famous Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish) and vegetarian options.

Opened in 2013, it is a bar which opens to the street, with music, concerts and snacks. In the middle of downtown Porto, it tries to bring the street to the street, in this reciprocity of undergoing, experiences and smells. The Rua occupies an old building in the area, with a characteristic interior patio. The architectural project of adaptation to the bar sought to realise the idea of approaching the street, of integration and continuity, using elements and materials from the exterior urbanity, such as the granite of the pavement, the balcony iron bars, the typical tiles and the urban graffiti. On the menu, you can find various solutions for drinking and snacking, ‘potatoes bravas’ (extremely spicy potatoes), padrón peppers, tibornas (similar to a Bruschetta), among others, and even a puff pastry Francesinha.
