The origin of Veiga Bakery and Pastry Shop dates back to the 1980s. It was founded by José Dias Veiga, who began his professional experience in 1963 at a private bakery. In 1980 opens its first bakery in Famalicão. It has had progressive and sustained growth, currently having 17 own stores, a large distribution chain that supplies many customers and a team of over one hundred and a half employees. Veiga Bakery and Pastry Shop is proud to supply its establishments with many varieties of its own bread and cakes, which have fed several generations of customers and are the basis of its growth as a company.

My Palace is a restaurant that specializes in francesinha made from the finest ingredients. Therefore, My Palace offers our customers several variations of this dish, such as the standard francesinha, My Palace and the XL and XXL for the sweet tooth. In addition to the francesinhas, it has a wide range of snacks, omelets and traditional Portuguese fish and meat dishes such as monkfish fillets, razor clam rice, duck rice and lamb chanfana. Built in 1945 by architect Amoroso Lopes, the modern style building right by the sea where BH Foz is located, was once a service station, bar, restaurant and party room. Abandoned for 30 years, it was fully recovered to perform a playful function, organizing events and catering, while preserving its identity and authenticity.
