With three open spaces in the Porto area, Negra Café has a modern and sophisticated concept, with a welcoming environment that invites you to socialise, being the ideal place for those who like to take pictures of their food. It happens that the prepared dishes are highly photogenic, but not only that: they are highly delicious. There is a wide variety of coffees, milk shakes, infusions, teas, smoothies and refreshing drinks. When it comes to solid food, the choice is even more diverse, with cakes, croissants, toasts, fruit bowls, and pancakes with side dishes of your choice, chicken toast, salmon, shrimp or mushrooms, sharing boards, salads, among other offers. The difficult thing will really be to choose.

The owner’s name is Eugenia and the history of her café is a “funny” one: she worked in a school nearby, but she did not like working there very much. She took care of the children when they were on their break, but while during school hours her work was more quiet. Bored, but still without another job in sight, she found herself forced to find an escape as an excuse to get out of there. One day, while passing through the street of Bonjardim, she saw a shop that was about to wander and thought she could open a café in that space, betting on her homemade dumplings, something she loved to do. And so Geninha appeared, the name by which she was called at school, where she could share her cakes and snacks.

Confectionery with a history of 44 years. The owners came from Angola, where they had a confectionery of the same name founded in 1970, and in 1975 opened Nandinha in Porto. It is a family confectionery, which has as its specialty the little cakes with egg puff pastry, the king cake (normal, puff and dried fruit), Hungarian sweets, almonds, brigadeiros, sweet and yarn and its award-winning Berlin balls, among many others. They also make delicious cakes with creative design for all occasions. In addition to the confectionery, they serve lunches, including salads, omelets and hamburgers.
