Deliciosos Momentos, Lda (Natas d’Ouro)

Natas d'Ouro is born from the desire of its founder to try the combination of new flavors with the traditional “pastel de nata”. To this end, it establishes in 2017 a partnership with Borges Wine Society and creates a “pastel de nata” from Port Wine, using in its production the excellent Port wine of this centenary house. To distinguish them from the traditional “pastel de nata”, and in the form of tribute, these cream tarts with port wine have a more oval shape, alluding to the shape of boats. Natas d'Ouro also has a terrace with about 160 seats and many other pastry delicacies, for those who do not want to confine themselves only to the “pastel de nata” that is the hallmark of this space.

Pastel de nata, Port wine, strawberry, lemon, orange, caipirinha, chocolate, the traditional Port Wine Borges

Inserted in the corner of an old building, the Restaurante Encontro Art Caffe encloses in its space a mixture of contemporary and ancient, where encounter and art mix. In this space, the heritage of traditional Portuguese cuisine is preserved, with the confection of regional and local dishes, punctuated with modern notes, updating and giving unique identity to their dishes. The temporal migration occurs with the decoration, with modern lines, creating a welcoming, intimate and familiar environment, thus carrying the culinary tradition to the XXI century. It also has a basement for celebrations and festivities, prepared to receive groups, families and companies.

Café Ambrizete home appeared in the 70s and can be said to be part of a range of the oldest houses in the area. The name ‘Ambrizete’ derives from the time of the returnees, the people who returned from the old Portuguese overseas provinces, being the name of an Angolan city at the time. At the beginning, with the theme of a tea room, the space contained sofas for the comfort of its clients and paintings on the walls with the theme ‘Angola’. Of these paintings it is still possible to see part of them under the false ceiling, as well as a stained glass window that is part of the origins of the house. Nowadays, the highlight goes to the games of Santa Casa, to its billiards, to the space outside and to its soup, which never disappoints its clients.
