Café Lobito is one of the oldest cafés in this area of Porto, having recently undergone a renovation, giving it a modernisation and sophistication adapted to current times. It maintains the authenticity and genuineness it has always had, which translates into a close and familiar service, as well as the maintenance of the offer, based on traditional Portuguese cuisine. At Café Lobito you can choose any of the meals. For breakfast there are several menus available, from toast to a fruit buffet with granola, accompanied by a “galão” (hot drink from Portugal made of espresso and foamed milk. Rainha do Carvalhido is a self-made confectionery and pastry shop with many years of experience. Here we always offer hot bread recently baked and locally made cakes. Here you can buy artistic and personalized cakes with photos and messages for all kinds of celebrations. In addition, it is a quiet and good atmosphere, suitable for a break while having a coffee and one of its well-known miniatures or “natas” with various flavors, such as cream and lemon. But not only will you find bread and cakes in Rainha do Carvalhido, as every day we serve at lunch homemade meals at a budget price with a variety of meat, fish and salads.

Liliana and Pedro Abreu, two brothers, have been marketing Iberian black pork meat, hams and sausages for over 20 years. In order to give more visibility to these products, they decided to open, in 2017, Cerca Velha, a space for snacking, tasting and socialising. The “bifanas à Cerca Velha”, which are black pork steaks in a special sauce, served in exclusive bread, as well as the Iberian sausage planks and the generous list of Port and Douro wines from small producers, are worth mentioning. It owes its name to the primitive wall of Porto, which lies beneath the house. They take pride on the quality of their service, their location and the quality of their products, also sold in baskets.
