Initially, the Pão com Manteiga (meaning Bread with Butter) was supposed to be just a cafeteria. It became a restaurant since a student asked if he could have for lunch the food that Zaina, the principal manager and cook, used to cook for her husband and children. That day she didn’t even charge money to the student, who the next day returned with a group of friends. That day she served 10 dishes, the next day she served 20 and today it’s served an average of 200 dishes a day of simple and delicious homemade food. Noteworthy are the traditional Portuguese and Brazilian dishes, but also the famous Brazilian pastries and desserts, such as brigadeiros. It has a nice terrace in which you can enjoy on sunny days.
Daily dishes, Parmigiana picanha, Brazilian feijoada, pastel de feira, brigadeiro cake, sweet milk cake

This art, considered an UNESCO Intangible World Heritage Site, entails, for example, a long period of fermentation of the pasta at room temperature. Muti means dumb in Italian, nicknamed by its owner, the experienced Neapolitan pizza maker Vicenzo Marino, who spoke little about children.
