A French-Portuguese couple came to Porto, with the will to participate in the evolution, dynamism and culinary diversity of the city. They changed their lives and careers and opened Porto Express, to propose original flavours and promote the products of the north of Portugal, in a welcoming space, where everyone can get together and feel at ease, in conviviality and sharing food. It is a tapas bar, of drinks, of hamburgers, of homemade cakes and brunch, serving local and artisan products, with a modern and original touch, with vegan and vegetarian options. They also have artistic and cultural events (workshops, concerts, thematic dinners); they are pet-friendly; and they focus on the satisfaction of each client.

Brunch, snacks, toasts.

Here you can enjoy pastry specialties such as croissants, snacks, Jesuits, palmiers, cream and Berlin balls, as well as gastronomic specialties such as duck rice, Porto-style guts, Braga cod, Zé do Pipo cod and of course , francesinha.

Sabores Monásticos is a registered trademark that sells Portuguese regional products, many of them originating in the Varosa valley. The headquarters is located in Salzedas, a predominantly agricultural historical settlement which is part of the vineyard villages of the Douro. Salzedas is also the name of a Cistercian monastery, Santa Maria de Salzedas, which began to be built on January 20th, 1168, under the leadership of D. Teresa Afonso, widow of Egas Moniz, one of the founders of Portugal. Its mission is to bring to customers the best products of small farmers, still handcrafted, from ceramics, welfare products, wines, liquors and grocery products.

Baroque style decoration in warm tones, terrace, panoramic garden and typical Portuguese food. Where? In Bibóporto, one of the most frequented restaurants in downtown Porto, either for lunch or dinner. It is common to find group dinners, friends, family or professional gatherings, that give this space a warm and inviting atmosphere. Here you can taste our starters, accompanied with house win, finishing with a wide range of desserts. And of course, we have several main dishes that surely you won’t forget, like Fancesinhas, “bacalhau com broa” (codfish), “polvo à lagareiro”, octopus’ fillets with bean rice, kebabs or our garlic steak.
