Morabeza is a word from Cape Verdean Creole that is difficult to translate, but which, in general, means friendliness and kindness. This is what you will find in this space, which seeks to provide customers with a different dining experience, bringing together culture, music and gastronomy in one place, with a special focus on the culture and gastronomy of African Portuguese speaking countries. In fact, its menu intentionally refers to the flavors of Africa, featuring dishes such as cachupa, matapa or meat peanut curry. In addition to delicious food, live music is added. Tex Mex Factory opened in 2019 and it is the result of a Brazilian couple’s passion for the city of Porto. They decided to open a restaurant dedicated to Tex Mex cuisine, a fusion of Texan and Mexican flavours, which would bring palates from the other side of the Atlantic. With a thematic decoration, Mexican style, it is a space that brings together style and flavours, especially the totopos with guacamole, pico de gallo, meat or vegetarian chili, the Nacho Supreme with three sauces to accompany or the Tex Mex hamburger, you can choose the level of spicy. There is also a sweet burrito with ‘brigadeiro’ (chocolate moist cake, filled with chocolate and covered in chocolate chips), strawberry and Kit Kat chocolate.
