A French-Portuguese couple came to Porto, with the will to participate in the evolution, dynamism and culinary diversity of the city. They changed their lives and careers and opened Porto Express, to propose original flavours and promote the products of the north of Portugal, in a welcoming space, where everyone can get together and feel at ease, in conviviality and sharing food. It is a tapas bar, of drinks, of hamburgers, of homemade cakes and brunch, serving local and artisan products, with a modern and original touch, with vegan and vegetarian options. They also have artistic and cultural events (workshops, concerts, thematic dinners); they are pet-friendly; and they focus on the satisfaction of each client.

Since 1958 this confectionery in the Boavista area has been the delight of those who pass by. Entering Porto Rico is to enter the history of Porto’s pastry shops, with a product offering that spans all the walls, as if we had entered a grocery store from our grandparents’ time. Old but current, it is still sought after by its húngaros, its bolo rei and its digestives. In addition to these specialties, you can find varied pastries and confectionery, jams, teas, drinks, groceries, among others, and an ideal space to have breakfast, snack, have a light meal or snack.

If we went into a cafe in the 80s of the 20th century, it was rare that there was no pool table. This sport, allegedly created in the 15th century, had its first great Portuguese champion in 1936, named Alfredo Ferraz. In Portugal there was no billiards, not least because the Portuguese champion competed for the title while enrolled in the Spanish Federation, but what is certain is that it has become one of Portuguese favorite sports. Snooker Café is one of the few places where you can enjoy this sport, as well as having breakfast, lunch, snacks and having a meal. It has varied pastries and snacks, hot dogs, sandwiches, francesinha and a generous list of drinks.
