The Bug Hug was born in 2020 as a result of the owner’s need to reinvent her career path and the synergy of family work. As an artist and educator she felt the need to redirect her work to a project that already existed in the drawer of dreams – the bug hug. The family, with more than thirty years of experience in children’s clothing, helped to give birth to a new brand of clothing aimed at babies and children. With its own design, national manufacture (in its own workshop and in partner workshops) and selected raw materials, the garments result in a contemporary and eclectic style that respects sustainability and ecological responsibility.

Casa Rainha has been open to the public since 9 September 1985 and Mr. Arsénio Martins, the owner, says he did so because of his double passion: the street commerce and the declared taste for the fashion world. Gathering more than three decades of experience there is, still today, the pride of the owner in providing a personalised service to its customers, accompanied by, according to him, “friendliness and seriousness”. To these there is the addition of the quality of the brands of products offered, such as the products of the brand Triumph, of which the Casa Rainha is the official representative. Here you can find lingerie, women’s and children’s clothing, and men’s underwear, among others.

“O Patinho Azul” studio shop was founded in 1990 and its motto is “the tenderness to dress the little ones.” It is a very cozy and well decorated space located right downtown. “O Patinho Azul” designs and produces a wide range of clothing suitable for children from 0 to 12 years. With their own design and national manufacture, the articles are made with love and handcrafted, something that stands out in all clothes and footwear, characterized by their classic style, timeless adapted to the present day. With this love and inspiration in children’s magic, Patinho Azul has unique fabrics and threads to personalize special moments, baptisms and communions.
