The mythical Café Corcel, born in 1967 in the Pinheiro Manso area, has recently reopened with a new life. The space is more beautiful and luminous, modernised, but containing some traditional touches, and its shop window reflects this, where we find an exhibition with a lot of conventual sweets. This is the star of this space, the confectionery, and we are not talking about the conventional cakes, known to all pastries in Porto, but rather about conventual confectionery: egg chestnuts, egg cones, almond delights, Tentúgal pastries. There are also homemade pizzas, salads and carpaccios, if you want a light meal and a DJ at the weekend, to enjoy while drinking a cocktail.

Those who enter Confeitaria Sissi feel that they are entering a time capsule, when Portugal was just a rustic country, tied to a perception of country made of villages. From the outside, with the display case flanked by a railing, you may think you are in a space that is tied to those times. However, when you enter, the Portuguese cobblestone floor, wooden ceiling, granite walls and exterior space give the space a special atmosphere of familiarity and welcome. This place is ideal for having a coffee, tasting your snacks, snacks or pastries, while living with the space and with friends.

Confectionery with a history of 44 years. The owners came from Angola, where they had a confectionery of the same name founded in 1970, and in 1975 opened Nandinha in Porto. It is a family confectionery, which has as its specialty the little cakes with egg puff pastry, the king cake (normal, puff and dried fruit), Hungarian sweets, almonds, brigadeiros, sweet and yarn and its award-winning Berlin balls, among many others. They also make delicious cakes with creative design for all occasions. In addition to the confectionery, they serve lunches, including salads, omelets and hamburgers.
