Liliana and Pedro Abreu, two brothers, have been marketing Iberian black pork meat, hams and sausages for over 20 years. In order to give more visibility to these products, they decided to open, in 2017, Cerca Velha, a space for snacking, tasting and socialising. The “bifanas à Cerca Velha”, which are black pork steaks in a special sauce, served in exclusive bread, as well as the Iberian sausage planks and the generous list of Port and Douro wines from small producers, are worth mentioning. It owes its name to the primitive wall of Porto, which lies beneath the house. They take pride on the quality of their service, their location and the quality of their products, also sold in baskets.

Having opened its doors to the general public at the end of 2015, Mercearia do Rosário presents itself as a gastronomic cult space, dedicated to the sale and tasting of regional products. It offers its customers a selection of varied products, ranging from jams to liqueurs, as well as traditional and Port wines, biscuits and preserves. In this establishment you can also enjoy your breakfast or late brunch, always at economical prices and with tasty and quality products that will surely satisfy you.

La Bombarde is an unavoidable space in the city for those who like crepes and want to try typical Brittany delicacies. In fact, it is the only typical French creperie in Porto. In an intimate space, simply but modernly decorated with the comfort of wood and a balcony facing the window, it creates a welcoming atmosphere conducive to savoring the specialty of the house: a delicious crepe accompanied by a cider, guaranteed that crepes are handmade on special discs. You can try one of the sweet crepes, a gallete (salty crepe), pancakes or a salad. In addition to all this, it has several vegetarian options among all specialties.
