Say Cheese is a shop specialised in cheese and wine with an area for tasting and conviviality. The shop area is right at the entrance of the new space and has several national and international suggestions that you can take home. There are boards that can be accompanied with sweets, jams and wine glasses. At the end of the room, after passing the shop, there is the tasting area. Everything that arrives at the table has cheese, of course, and that which varies are the accompaniments. You can go through the shop window and choose three, five or seven of your favourite cheeses. You can add side dishes such as chutney, jam, olives or dried fruit. There are also drink tastings, with advice on the cheese to go with them.

Cheese, wine, tasting.

Whether for lunch, or simply to enjoy a snack, this central café, located in front of São Bento station, is a typical meeting point in Porto. It serves daily meals at competitive prices, with soup, main course, drink and coffee, and also has other offers, such as salads, soups, nails on plate and bread, hamburgers on plate and bread, omelettes, hot dogs, codfish dishes, sausage, meat rissoles and shrimp, not to mention its version of the famous Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish), just to mention some. Accompany it with the house drinks.

Barbecued chicken specialties that, to use their own words, promise “the best chicken in the neighborhood and surrounding area.” You can choose to eat on-site, take-away or home delivery. The specialty is the traditional BBQ chicken, juicy and with crispy skin, but you can try other mincemeat delicacies such as gizzards, spicy wings, chicken patties, chicken stew or chicken creole chorizo. It also offers healthy alternatives like chicken or vegetarian salads. You can also try special sauces, such as aioli, bairrada or diablo.
