Lagar do Mel store, as the name suggests, specializes in retailing and producing honey derivatives. Its network of employees includes beekeepers and beekeeping producers, and this establishment collects its products in various apiaries between the regions of Trás-os-Montes and the northern coast. Lagar do Mel’s mission is to promote honey products and their application in areas as diverse as food, cosmetics and therapy. Lagar do Mel’s offer includes products ranging from traditional honey of all kinds, through royal jelly and biscuits and almonds, to products not so common, such as soaps based on this raw material of unparalleled nutritional properties.

Open to the public since November 2014, Enaltece Sabor is located in one of the busiest streets in the city. Under the sign of products of national origin, it presents a variety of Portuguese regional products of differentiated quality, highlighting the conventual sweets of Amarante, “the best palmier in the world” and the covillets of Viana do Castelo. To facilitate the choice of the most undecided, menus were created that combine the best Douro wine (white, red, rosé, Verde or even a glass of Port wine) with the best cheese, hams or smoked pork loin, to be consumed in the area. Enaltece Sabor also offers its customers a take-away service.
