What happens when mother and daughter get together, one an experienced cook, the other an interior design specialist? Porta Dezanove happens, a modern space with flavours that take us on a journey to other times. In this modern tavern, the house specialities are the codfish ‘iscas’ (they consist of pieces of shredded cod fried in wheat flour, seasoned with salt and sometimes pepper and parsley; they have a flattened or spherical irregular shape, if fried in abundant fat and are about 8-12 cm in diameter) with red bean rice, the Porta Dezanove Salad (rucola, lettuce, ox heart tomato, walnuts and cream cheese), the ‘peixinhos da horta’ (deep-fried green beans), the ‘alheira escangalada’ (sautéed meat sausage) with sprouts and fresh mushrooms sautéed with garlic. With its intimate atmosphere, you can take the opportunity to try the daily specials at lunch, have a snack and a drink at the end of the day, or even socialise with family and friends at dinner.

Fábrica da Picaria is a craft beer brewpub that aims to become a trendy, cosmopolitan, signature and tasteful space, where you can enjoy a craft beer in a factory environment while making contact with the various stages of beer production. This way, in this brewpub, you can taste the beer directly from your fermentation vat. Although beer is our ex-libris, Fábrica da Picaria also serves tapas, sandwiches and traditional dishes, all great choices to accompany the craft beers that surely attract those who visit this space.

Na Muche Restaurant is characterised by the provenance of the products that make up the menu, which is seasonal and local. From breakfast to dinner, customers can expect honest dishes, in which the ingredients – many of them grown in the owner’s vegetable garden – are carefully treated, in order to offer quality options. The dining room is cosy and the restaurant also has a terrace. As well as the à la carte service, the restaurant also offers lunch menus. They are proud of their “Abade de Priscos” pudding (typical Portuguese dessert, created by the Abbot of Priscos, in the 19th century, containing bacon and a very large number of egg yolks), the recipe which, they guarantee, was given by the Abbot to the owner’s grandmother. Try it and you will believe it.

Father and son, after brewing beer in pots and pans for friends in Rio de Janeiro, lent their talent to Porto and created Levare, a pure malt craft beer. Today it produces over six thousand liters per month on 800 square meters, with production area, bar, terrace and restaurant where they also serve various snacks every day. They make five different beers and over six thousand liters a month: Brown Porter, American IPA, Witbier, Belgian Tripel, and Lager, the variety that produces the most. To accompany, there are several snacks, such as rump and loin studs, francesinhas, hamburgers and hotdogs, but also more composed dishes such as cod, emptied steaks and pork knuckle.
