Bulha is a group of two restaurants in the city of Porto, specialised in traditional Portuguese food. In their restaurants there are always fresh products used in the confection of the menu and, among the existing offers, there are the cod dishes with bread and cod à la Bulha (house special dish). This is also the only place in the city that works with octopus flower.
This Bulha restaurant is located in Rua de Sá da Bandeira. Here, it is possible to find several meals based on codfish (such as codfish rice or codfish à la Brás (Portuguese dish made from shreds of salted cod, onions and thinly chopped (matchstick-sized) fried potatoes, all bound with scrambled eggs. It is usually garnished with black olives and sprinkled with fresh parsley)), octopus (octopus rice or octopus ‘à lagareiro’ (octopus cooked in olive oil)) and seafood (seafood rice or ‘açorda de marisco’ (typical Portuguese dish composed of thinly sliced bread with garlic, finely chopped coriander, olive oil, vinegar, water, white pepper, salt and poached eggs; this one also has shellfish).

Café Lobito is one of the oldest cafés in this area of Porto, having recently undergone a renovation, giving it a modernisation and sophistication adapted to current times. It maintains the authenticity and genuineness it has always had, which translates into a close and familiar service, as well as the maintenance of the offer, based on traditional Portuguese cuisine. At Café Lobito you can choose any of the meals. For breakfast there are several menus available, from toast to a fruit buffet with granola, accompanied by a “galão” (hot drink from Portugal made of espresso and foamed milk. Similar to caffè latte or café au lait, it consists of about one quarter coffee and three quarters foamed milk. It is served in a tall glass) or fruit juice. For the complete meals the choice is not less diversified, having fish dishes, meat dishes, hamburgers, dogs, not forgetting the Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish).

Cantinho da Mimi is a restaurant, café and snack bar with a varied menu. You can go to this restaurant for a meal as it offers daily dishes at an economical price. If you prefer, you can choose one of their specialties such as the francesinha or the specialty hotdog. On sunny days there is always the possibility of taking advantage of the terrace to take a break and relax while having a coffee, a beer or one of their sandwiches. In addition, it is a spacious, comfortable and discreet venue, ideal for organizing group dinners. Additionally, there is a basement where sometimes dances and karaoke parties take place.
