The creation of Museu do Estuque had two major goals in mind: preservation and dissemination of the Art Stucco heritage, in its specific identity and in the field of decorative arts applied to architecture, in an active way, interacting with the scientific community and the community holder of works, to assume itself as an intervening museum in the cultural area and within society in various aspects, with special emphasis on the historical and social memory of decorative arts and traditional crafts related to architecture. They manufacture and sell plaster articles, home furnishings, as well as conservation and restoration in stucco, stone, tiles, mural painting, stained glass, easel painting.
