Embaixada do Porto is a multipurpose space in downtown Porto that privileges the analog. It has been in existence since 2013 and its mission is to be the go-to for lovers of photography, music and retro and vintage style. Downstairs you will find a store dedicated to analog and instant photography and music: Polaroids, photographic rolls, turntables, vinyls. On the first floor, with ripped windows over the square and Carmo Church, is the Embaixada’s Bar, which is a café during the day and a bar at night. There are different styles of music every day of the week, and you can drink a mojito or piña colada, or eat a salad or a Nutella pancake. On Saturdays there are Photography Workshops.

Bazar Paris has existed in Porto for 116 years, a continuing reality from generation to generation by the same family to this day. This store concept brings together a nonexistent versatility nowadays, through experienced and knowledgeable collaborators who assist the customer in their purchase. Latina is one of the most emblematic bookstores in Porto. It was founded in 1942 by Henrique Perdigão and is known for its façade, highlighting the bust of Luis de Camões. It was the first company in Portugal to create a literary contest, right in the year of its inauguration. The winner of the contest was Prof. José Hermano Saraiva who competed with the work “Vento vindo dos montes” using the pseudonym Simplicimus. Now part of the Leya group, Latina continues to offer its customers a wide range of books. Throughout its three floors you will find all the latest Portuguese and foreign literature, as well as technical, school, children’s and artistic books and travel guides.
