With 33 years of tradition in the city of Porto, Meidin is a pizzeria that combines a pleasant space with good Italian food, offering a customer service that wants to respect the establishment’s motto of good service.
Founded by 4 alumni and friends of the hotel school, Meidin Pizzeria offers in its letter several options, such as garlic bread, unmissable pizzas in various combinations but also Italian pasta and savory crepes.

Meidin also has a wine and sparkling wine list that perfectly accompanies the restaurant’s menu.

This establishment opened its doors in 1966 and was the city’s first Chinese restaurant, at a time when Chinese food was an unknown exoticism. It kept the traditional Chinese cuisine and resisted the competition, which decades later would be installed in the city. The business has been in the same family since its inception since Mr. Chow Horng Tzer founded it. It is also known as the “Bridge Chinese” because it is located next to the upper deck of D. Luís Bridge with views of the Douro river and “Serra do Pilar” monastery on the other side. We maintain the typical Chinese cuisine, highlighting the most sought after classics by regular customers: Peking Duck, Shrimp Dim Sum, Beef on the plate, among others.

Cervejaria Gazela is a historic space of the city, awarded with numerous awards and a must stop in any gastronomic itinerary. It is known above all for its hotdogs, which are nowadays one of the most sought after and iconic snacks of Porto and an example of the best confort food you can find. They are made in toasted, narrow bread with a very spicy fresh sausage and melted cheese, cut into small pieces and served with a fresh beer. You can hardly eat just one.
