Café Onital is an establishment with almost 40 years of history, a welcoming atmosphere and a friendly and helpful service. Onital is “Latino” written backwards, given its location near the corner between Latino Coelho and Santos Pousada streets. Its biggest and most recognized specialty is Francesinha, featuring several variants of this well-known dish. In addition to the standard Francesinha and the Onital Francesinha, we also have four varieties of vegetarian Francesinha. In addition to the Francesinha, we have a wide range of snacks, such as various omelets, the Onital special hotdog, the Onital special mixed toast and a wide variety of combinations.

The name of the restaurant originated in 1968 when Ernesto Pereira, the father of the current owner, buys the place and calls it “The Ernesto”. In 1990, Reinaldo Pereira, his son, became the owner of this same restaurant. After the completion of works and deep remodeling, the space known today is reborn, where the modern decoration blends with the rustic architecture of the building.
