If we talk about Pedro dos Frangos we obviously have to talk about chicken. However, this establishment is known for the chicken closed on a spit, roasted on a brazier, having been the first to coo kit like that in the city. It is also a restaurant known for its offer of traditional Portuguese dishes, namely, "cozido à portuguesa", "tripas à Moda do Porto", roasted lamb, "bacalhau à João do Grão", "rancho", among others. The origin of the establishment dates back to 1939 as a grazing house. On November 11th, 1961, Pedro da Silva founded the "Casa do Pedro", a name he owes to its founder, Pedro da Silva. It was in 1978 that the "Casa do Pedro" became "Pedro dos Frangos", the name by which it is known today.

The pastry shop is varied, you can try typical Portuguese sweets and not only and you can order for parties and ceremonies. Also in the meals the offer is varied.

In the 1980s, two families from the province of ZheJiang met in Portugal and took the decision of opening Restaurant Li Jin together. Open for over 30 years, this family restaurant is one of the oldest traditional Chinese food establishments. With a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, decorated with oriental motifs, you can try Chinese cuisine from several provinces, on site or by take away. From classics such as crepes, chop soy, noodles or traditional Chinese soups, to specialities such as Pato Li Jin or special rice with prawns. Confeitaria Lopes is inserted in a commercial gallery, managing to maintain a welcoming and familiar environment, having a decoration stripped of artifices, which gives it genuineness and authenticity. With a friendly, attentive and personalised service, with a focus on the client, Confeitaria Lopes offers a variety of products, for different occasions. You may choose to take a coffee break or to try one of its snacks, such as snacks or cakes, but also to stop and have a quick meal, to re-establish energies. In this sense, there are several proposals, from the famous Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish), hotdogs, beefsteak on bread and on the plate, just to mention a few.
