Café Lobito is one of the oldest cafés in this area of Porto, having recently undergone a renovation, giving it a modernisation and sophistication adapted to current times. It maintains the authenticity and genuineness it has always had, which translates into a close and familiar service, as well as the maintenance of the offer, based on traditional Portuguese cuisine. At Café Lobito you can choose any of the meals. For breakfast there are several menus available, from toast to a fruit buffet with granola, accompanied by a “galão” (hot drink from Portugal made of espresso and foamed milk. Similar to caffè latte or café au lait, it consists of about one quarter coffee and three quarters foamed milk. It is served in a tall glass) or fruit juice. For the complete meals the choice is not less diversified, having fish dishes, meat dishes, hamburgers, dogs, not forgetting the Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish).
Breakfasts, light and economic meals.

Astro Cervejaria Petisqueira has been in Porto since 1979 and says its slogan that here you can find the “real bifanas”. It is the ex-libris of O’Astro. Going here and not eating a bifana is like going to Porto once in a lifetime and not drinking a port. According to the owner, Mr. Albino, also the green broth is at the level of the bifanas, because “there is no time of day when it is not fresh, hot and ready to eat”. There are also other snacks to try, such as ham sandwiches, beef patties, shrimp patties, cod pastries, and breadcrumbs.

Casa da Mariquinhas was founded in 1968 by Heitor Gil Vilhena, a city personality known not only for his business side, but also for his acting activity. Ten years ago it was acquired by the son of one of the singers who actually performed here, under the stage name Fanny Ramos. This place exudes fado through the pores of its granite walls. All the great names of national fado have passed through here and continue, which, without microphones and in an atmosphere of intimacy and proximity to the public, make Casa da Mariquinhas the ideal place to enjoy the best fado that is sung and touch this city. Unique experience accompanied by the best traditional Portuguese cuisine.
