Café Restaurante Marinho’s invests in traditional Portuguese cuisine and seeks to offer its customers quality dishes at affordable prices. The house specialties are fried cod fish with loose rice, grilled squid, Braga-style cod, Porto-style guts, duck rice and Minho-style rojões. Its menu is varied and quite extensive, with several options of meat, fish, seafood, omelets and snacks. Obviously, we are in Porto, and if there is cuisine, there is francesinha, which Marinho’s advises to accompany with your sangria. They have a takeaway service every day, with meals for two at very competitive prices.

It is within the magnificent and historic building of Porto Commercial Athenaeum that you will find this establishment, where you will have the opportunity to make experiments and comparisons between various coffees from different parts of the globe, coffees roasted in this space by different roasters.
This coffee shop also offers a selection of cream, biscuits, D.Odete muffins and slow-fermented bread, so you can enjoy your coffee together with a delicious accompaniment.

The mythical Café Corcel, born in 1967 in the Pinheiro Manso area, has recently reopened with a new life. The space is more beautiful and luminous, modernised, but containing some traditional touches, and its shop window reflects this, where we find an exhibition with a lot of conventual sweets. This is the star of this space, the confectionery, and we are not talking about the conventional cakes, known to all pastries in Porto, but rather about conventual confectionery: egg chestnuts, egg cones, almond delights, Tentúgal pastries. There are also homemade pizzas, salads and carpaccios, if you want a light meal and a DJ at the weekend, to enjoy while drinking a cocktail.
