Let's talk about couverts. If there are restaurants that put the tickets on the table without the customer asking, permission is requested here. However, according to customers, entries should be mandatory. The chef Luís Américo makes sure that all the confection is handmade and made on site. So, if you spread black garlic butter and paprika on a sweet, still warm, sweet potato bread, you need not ask where such delicacy will come from. Comes from the chef's kitchen. And we are only talking about entries. With a strong focus on Portuguese cuisine, chef Luís Américo added simple things of direct flavors to his dishes, depending on the trips he made. Munchie Burger is the first artisanal burger in Porto. Born on July 16, 2013, the need to address the lack of meals for young people in Porto’s “moved” area was born. This is an innovative and informal concept, developed by a team of young people who attended the night and knew well what could result: a different hamburger that does not have “fast food”, but quality light food, prepared “on the spot ”with fresh, locally sourced produce. Today, Munchie is a reference brand in the Greater Porto area, and strives for the continuity of the quality of its products, currently having three open spaces in Greater Porto.

O Melhor Bolo de Chocolate do Mundo (The Best Chocolate Cake in the World) opened in 2011 a small and cozy space in downtown Porto. It all started when Carlos Braz Lopes tried to recreate in his restaurant, former Mercado Santa Clara, a recipe he had tasted in Paris.
The result was not very close to the original, but the success was such that customers who tasted eventually dubbed the creation of “the best chocolate cake in the world”.
Layers of meringue wrapped in french chocolate mousse topped with a chocolate ganache – these are the traits that make this cake a unique experience. No wonder this delight has already reached such distinct points of the globe as Spain, Brazil, Australia and Angola.

Sai Cão is a traditional Portuguese food restaurant. With daily dishes at competitive prices, with menus that include bread, soup, main course and drink. However, the lead role of Sai Cão is really its ‘posta à Mirandesa’ (thick heavy beef steak), which, according to many customers, is considered the best in town, accompanied with potatoes, rice and salad. The menu contains other traditional Portuguese dishes, with dishes like horse mackerel, several codfish dishes, veal roasted in the oven, omelettes, among others. The atmosphere is welcoming, familiar and traditional, bringing together different generations. Here you can count on that familiarity from the employees, who treat the customers as if they were part of the house.
