Let's talk about couverts. If there are restaurants that put the tickets on the table without the customer asking, permission is requested here. However, according to customers, entries should be mandatory. The chef Luís Américo makes sure that all the confection is handmade and made on site. So, if you spread black garlic butter and paprika on a sweet, still warm, sweet potato bread, you need not ask where such delicacy will come from. Comes from the chef's kitchen. And we are only talking about entries. With a strong focus on Portuguese cuisine, chef Luís Américo added simple things of direct flavors to his dishes, depending on the trips he made. In Typographia Progress one eats but also travels.

Kidoce works as a coffee shop, where you will be well looked after, to relax at any time of the day. In a relaxed, familiar and welcoming space, the ex-libris of the house are your homemade “rissóis” (mall patty enclosed in pastry, or rolled in breadcrumbs, usually baked or deep fried. It is filled with savoury ingredients, most often minced meat or fish, and is served as an entrée, main course, or side dish). This space can be chosen to take a break and have coffee, as well as to have a snack or even a complete meal. The offer is varied. As snacks, besides the mentioned “rissóis”, there are turkey sandwiches, American sandwiches, codfish dumplings, mixed toasts, beef steak with French fries, croissants, chicken pies, breaded pork steak on the bread, hotdogs, ham sandwiches, among others. For a meal, there are dishes of the day, as well as beef steak with French fries, hamburgers, Francesinha (a sandwich from the city of Porto, consisting of sausage, fresh sausage, ham, cold meats and beef steak, covered with cheese later melted; it is garnished with a tomato, beer and piri-piri sauce and can be served with French fries as a side dish), just to mention a few.
There is a connection between Portugal and Thailand: for over 500 years the Portuguese established contact with the Thai and introduced elements of the local cuisine. In the Thailander restaurant there is now the opposite direction, the offer of authentic Thai cuisine in downtown Porto. The menu is based on the offer of typical Thai dishes, from Pad Thai, a dish of rice noodles sautéed in egg and a traditional sauce, spring rolls, strong flavoured soups, such as Tom Yum, a rich shrimp broth with citrus flavours from kaffir lime and lemon grass, with a spicy touch, or Tom Kha, a coconut broth with mushrooms, galangal and the aromas of coriander and lemon grass, to typical curry dishes, among others.

Café Ponto de Encontro is the ideal name to describe the space. It is a cafe with a large space, mostly frequented by students and is located directly in front of the Eskada Club nightclub. It can be the ideal place to spend time and meet friends before prolonging the night at the disco. To spend time there is plenty to do, from having drinks, eating, snacks and light meals – breadings, steaks, francesinha- and enjoy the games room, with three pool tables and a table of table football. It’s the ideal place to hang out with friends, with good-humored staff, and great for watching football games.
