La Bombarde is an unavoidable space in the city for those who like crepes and want to try typical Brittany delicacies. In fact, it is the only typical French creperie in Porto. In an intimate space, simply but modernly decorated with the comfort of wood and a balcony facing the window, it creates a welcoming atmosphere conducive to savoring the specialty of the house: a delicious crepe accompanied by a cider, guaranteed that crepes are handmade on special discs. You can try one of the sweet crepes, a gallete (salty crepe), pancakes or a salad. In addition to all this, it has several vegetarian options among all specialties.

Initially, the Pão com Manteiga (meaning Bread with Butter) was supposed to be just a cafeteria. It became a restaurant since a student asked if he could have for lunch the food that Zaina, the principal manager and cook, used to cook for her husband and children. That day she didn’t even charge money to the student, who the next day returned with a group of friends. That day she served 10 dishes, the next day she served 20 and today it’s served an average of 200 dishes a day of simple and delicious homemade food. Noteworthy are the traditional Portuguese and Brazilian dishes, but also the famous Brazilian pastries and desserts, such as brigadeiros. It has a nice terrace in which you can enjoy on sunny days.

Located in the Clerigos area and with more than 4 years of existence in this sector of the market, Ice Lovers ice cream produces artisanal ice cream, mostly from natural fruit.
In our menu we offer very traditional flavors such as strawberry and lemon while not forgetting chocolate and stracciatella, along with bolder flavors such as custard tart.
In allusion and tribute to the site’s past, which previously housed the oldest wedding dress shop in the city, Ice Lovers’s visitors can notice our employees dressed as brides every Saturday from 5 p.m.
