A French-Portuguese couple came to Porto, with the will to participate in the evolution, dynamism and culinary diversity of the city. They changed their lives and careers and opened Porto Express, to propose original flavours and promote the products of the north of Portugal, in a welcoming space, where everyone can get together and feel at ease, in conviviality and sharing food. It is a tapas bar, of drinks, of hamburgers, of homemade cakes and brunch, serving local and artisan products, with a modern and original touch, with vegan and vegetarian options. They also have artistic and cultural events (workshops, concerts, thematic dinners); they are pet-friendly; and they focus on the satisfaction of each client.

The Madureira restaurant opened its doors in 1969. In this space you can find the flavors of traditional cuisine and, according to them, “the best francesinhas in the Porto region.” This restaurant / snack bar has two rooms, with a capacity for 123 seats. In this space it is possible to hold events or group dinners with very appealing menus. It has take-away service. The service is personalized and friendly. Its specialties include Stuffed Crab, Seafood Rice, Grilled Tigers, Braga Cod, Octopus Fillets, Monkfish Rice, Steak Madureira, Picanha, Steak with Garlic and Pork with potatoes with punch.

Since the year of its inauguration in 1964, Café Moreira has been a reference and meeting place for generations.
It promotes a series of gatherings and social tables with friends and intellectuals from various areas, from politicians to magistrates, lawyers, engineers, architects, doctors and even artists and musicians. It was there that the poet Eugénio de Andrade used to have lunch.
Among the products sold, homemade muffins, made by Maria Lúcia for over 40 years, are the main attraction of this space. It is a reference establishment in the city of Porto, taking a special interest in its history, articulating the heritage of tradition with the winds of the new times.
