Anchored in the center of Porto since 93 years ago, the oldest cheese house in Porto recently reopened and, at this moment, it is much more than a cheese house. It kept its essence and tradition in national cheeses, which are worked both in its original form, but also recreated and reworked in dishes by chef João Pupo Lameiras, using mainly Portuguese products combined with ingredients so good that they speak for themselves. The interiors remain faithful to the original, with notes of art nouveau and art deco, with the marble tables of the old café, the Portuguese chairs made of Brazil wood and engraved leather, the surroundings of the curved windows and cork.

Natas d’Ouro is born from the desire of its founder to try the combination of new flavors with the traditional “pastel de nata”.
To this end, it establishes in 2017 a partnership with Borges Wine Society and creates a “pastel de nata” from Port Wine, using in its production the excellent Port wine of this centenary house. To distinguish them from the traditional “pastel de nata”, and in the form of tribute, these cream tarts with port wine have a more oval shape, alluding to the shape of boats.
Natas d’Ouro also has a terrace with about 160 seats and many other pastry delicacies, for those who do not want to confine themselves only to the “pastel de nata” that is the hallmark of this space.

Cervejaria Gazela is a historic space of the city, awarded with numerous awards and a must stop in any gastronomic itinerary. It is known above all for its hotdogs, which are nowadays one of the most sought after and iconic snacks of Porto and an example of the best comfort food you can find. They are made in toasted, narrow bread with a very spicy fresh sausage and melted cheese, cut into small pieces and served with a fresh beer. You can hardly eat just one. You will always be welcomed by our friendly staff. In addition to the hotdogs, be sure to try the famous steak too.
