Queijaria Amaral is the oldest cheese factory in Porto, having been founded in 1928. Since 2018 it has become one of the city’s historic shops as part of the “Porto de Tradição” municipal program.
In this establishment all products are of Portuguese origin. This cheese shop specializes in Serra da Estrela cheese, but it also includes a wide variety of cheese from other regions. It also has sections of cold cuts, ham and sausages, selling traditional smokehouse from the best regions of the country, as well as bread from Bragança, Mirandela and Avintes.

Suribachi is the oldest vegetarian and macrobiotic restaurant in Porto, offering its guests meal and snack services.

The owners of Padaria Pardal assure that the best ‘regueifa’ (wheat bread, generally braided) of Porto is made by them, every Sunday. The Claus Porto shop-museum celebrates 130 years of the brand. The shop comprises three floors. The 0 floor has areas dedicated to each of the lines of the brand and has, at the bottom of the shop, the Royal Hot Towel Shave Moss, a traditional barbershop service to showcase the products of its men’s collection. The middle floor is entirely dedicated to the history of Claus Porto and where much of the heritage of the brand is displayed. The last floor is intended to be a laboratory of ideas and products. Founded in 1824, the Fábrica de Porcelana da Vista Alegre was the first industrial unit dedicated to porcelain production in Portugal. From the outskirts of Ílhavo, it quickly gained national recognition, especially by the royal house. At Vista Alegre you will find tableware, decorative, giftware and hotelware, high quality glass and crystal, and also stainless steel cutlery 18/10. Located at Miguel Bombarda Street, this is an establishment dedicated to the trade of women’s and men’s clothing and fashion accessories and also some food products, always derived from the hemp plant.
