Amaro, Freitas & Jones has existed since 1923. Initially, it dedicated itself to the sale of industrial accessories and tools for the most varied purposes and in the late 60s it created a section specialised in the sale of hand and electric tools, with the first shop in self-service system. The marketing of brands such as Black & Decker, Bosch, Super Star, Stanley, Peugeot, etc. allowed a great growth and the dissemination through leaflets, catalogues and advertisements in the press making Amaro, Freitas & Jones known throughout the country.
