Entering a Vista Alegre shop is also visiting part of the Portuguese heritage. Founded in 1824, the Fábrica de Porcelana da Vista Alegre was the first industrial unit dedicated to porcelain production in Portugal. From the outskirts of Ílhavo, it quickly gained national recognition, especially by the royal house. The brand never lost its identity, but also never lost its power of adaptation, following throughout its history the different artistic currents.
