XL arises from an old desire of its owner, Alexandra S. Monteiro, to build a space that reflects her personality and experiences. The search for new things and new designers was one of her priorities, seeking to find a style that represented something fresh in Porto. There is a concern in bridging the gap between classic and modern, combining Scandinavian style, also characterized by simple and functional lines with old styles, such as the 1950s. XL assumes a taste for simplicity of lines, design and of functionality, closely linked to the sometimes chaotic, modern lifestyle, that makes one look for an uncomplicated, elegant and functional home environment.

This is a company dedicated, since 1990, to interior decoration, supported by its own confection workshop, which allows competitive prices and excellent delivery times. It controls the whole process, providing services from the conception of the project, from the choice of materials and the monitoring of the work, either for projects that imply a complete and profound remodelling, whether in a bathroom or a kitchen. Its areas of intervention also include the design and production of furniture and sofas; confection of curtains for private individuals and resale; sale and restoration of new and period furniture; fabrics and wallpapers and rugs; and carpets nationally produced, with its own design or that of the client.

The history of Superdecor began to be written more than 40 years ago, currently having a network of 14 stores in Portugal. It occupies a prominent place in the world of decoration, for the innovation and quality of products and for the trust and credibility it has gained from its customers. At the beginning of its activity it sold fabrics, carpets and rugs. Today, in addition to these products, he specializes in bedding, wallpaper, blinds, bedding and floor coverings. Its team of specialized professionals, with experience and knowledge in the area, provides clients with personalized attention and attentive to their specific questions and needs.
