For Capa Negra it is not enough to be the best Francesinha in Porto, according to its words, it is “the best Francesinha in the world”. This is the original space, opened in 1968, when Amândio Fontes and one of his brothers decided to open a pool hall. Today is one of the best-known restaurants and brewery in Porto, having two more restaurants in the city. In addition to Francesinhas, its specialties are hake fillets, oven roasted lamb, Portuguese stew, roast beef and a huge variety of steaks. Always accompany with meat patties.

Manteigaria is a Pastéis de Nata factory with a public service desk. It has two stores in the city of Porto located in the Clérigos and in the Bolhão area.
Inside it is possible for the customer to observe the whole process of making the Pastel de Nata, also known as the Portuguese custard tart, completely handmade: from the preparation of the dough to the addition of the cream, and, of course, the moment when the cakes are baked. Pastéis de Natal can be enjoyed inside the store or taken outside. Manteigaria also has the particularity of announcing in the street, through a bell, the exit of a new batch of tartlets ready to be tasted.

Barrigas is a restaurant with a familiar and pleasant atmosphere, from which you will hardly leave with an empty belly. It has very low-price meals, mainly of Portuguese cuisine, with several alternatives of meat and fish dishes, like “picanha”, steaks and codfish. Its Francesinha is also highly praised, and there are several variants of this dish so typical of Porto. There are also several hotdogs and hamburgers. You can count on a warm service from the friendly staff.
