Bonsai is a work of art that needs specialised care. More than being planted in a shallow and small pot, the plant is a miniature replica of a nature tree, which should stimulate the growth patterns. In December 2014, after 36 years of selling bonsai in Portugal, Florista Libânia ceased its activity due to the degradation of the building where it was located. Porto Bonsai appears in a new space, continuing all the experience gained at Florista Libânia. In addition to the sale of bonsai, vases, fertilisers, land, tools, wires and decorations, they also provide bonsai art workshops, where you can learn how to prune, transplant, wire, cut roots and prepare land.
Bonsai, vases, fertilisers, earth, tools, wires, bonsai decorations, bonsai art workshop.

Manel Jardineiro belongs to Manuel Silva. What started out as occupational therapy has become a full time job. Manel Jardineiro is a workshop and greenhouse. Its specialty is kokedama. What? It is better to be the expert to answer: “It is a Japanese ornamental technique, developed like bonsai, in which the roots of the plant are wrapped in a ball.” The outside is cleverly wrapped in moss or coconut shell, in which They then wrap the fishing net lines and attach a wire to place the suspended plant – although it can also be placed on a table. Olive trees, ferns, yuccas and cyclamen give life to Manel Jardineiro’s kokedamas. The best thing is to see them live.
