The copy center “O Grilo” is located at the headquarters of the Academic Federation of Porto. The name “the cricket” comes from the cricket statue which is the emblematic symbol of this building. This statue was created to mark a series of student protests at the time when Marçal Grilo was the minister of education. The Grilo Copy Center has served hundreds of students in their photocopying, printing, scanning and stationery selling needs.
