PAAZ is a synonym of Paulo Azevedo, an architect graduated from FAUP (Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto), who has collaborated in different architectural offices and participated in several projects of single-family houses, restoration, interior development, among others, being present from the conception to the monitoring of the work. He has lived in Rome and Vienna, where the “philosophy of space” is very present. He returned to Porto, where he opened PAAZ, to put his stamp on architectural and design projects. This office aims to advertise architectural services and, at the same time, sell its own brand products (with the possibility of being personalised) or another brand, preferably Portuguese.

Kuri Kuri opened its doors at the end of November 2009 at Rua do Rosário, having been the first store in Porto exclusively dedicated to selling Japanese items.
After a month’s stay in Japan in 2005, Ana Cancela wanted to open a store with focus on a single culture and Japan appeared to be the most desirable to explore for this marketing licensee.
