The Livraria Utopia was born at a time when alternative bookstores established after 25 April 1974 had already closed. It opened its doors in 1982, right next to the headquarters where so many demonstrations took place during the PREC, by the hand of libertarian members of the editorial cooperative A Centelha, also functioning as a support to the distribution of this historic and resistant publisher from Coimbra, established after the academic crisis of 69, by the hands of Professor Sobral Martins. The Livraria Utopia intends to resist in these times, enemies of the book. It sells new and used books, from publishers such as Livraria Letra Livre, & etc, Maldoror, VS. Vasco Santos, Fenda, Averno, Alambique, Saguão, Língua Morta.

Ana Seixas is a graphic designer and illustrator. After finishing her specialisation, she has been working as a freelancer, since 2008, as graphic designer for several companies. Currently, she dedicates her time to illustration, collaborating with several magazines, illustrating books and designing for advertising campaigns, packaging, among other projects. She divides her time between these commissioned works and her creative work, which she sells in her shop. Ceramic pieces, pins, fingerprints of illustrations, posters, postcards, agendas, books, calendars, among others, always of her creation and with her trace, these are some of the articles you can find in her space. Existing mainly in places of temporary passage or other places of interest, such as subway stations or shopping malls, Jocorum is a tobacco shop that offers its customers a practical and careful service.
