Armazéns do Marquês is an experienced company created in 1987 that operates in the home textile area, underwear and sporting goods. In 1998, it stopped selling sports goods and started selling and making uniforms, overalls and work clothes. Its goal is to provide products with high quality standards that offer the best guarantees to its customers, at the best prices and always giving preference to products made in Portugal. Velhustro – Antiques is a shop dedicated to selling and buying antiques. If you are looking for a chest of drawers that confers the status of antiquity, say, in the style of Louis XV, antique jewelry boxes, jars, showcases, sideboards, terrines, armchairs, fruit trees, candlesticks, or even complete furniture, among others, Velhustro may be the solution. Armazém dos Linhos was born in 1905 and has been dedicated since the 1950’s to the production of printed fabrics with traditional Portuguese designs. In 2011 this space was in danger of closing doors, which was the ideal opportunity for the new owners, Filipa and Leonor Pinto Basto, to rewrite the fate of this traditional company.
The main idea of the project is to recover the patterns of Alcobaça cheetahs by reproducing old patterns and looking for new and contemporary applications for these fabrics.
Armazém dos Linhos also offers a range of national linen and fabrics, as well as its own brand, with a collection of bags, wallets and kitchen, table and home lines.
