Founded in the distant nineteenth century, specifically in 1877, the Great Warehouses of Beira began their activity in Rua de Santa Catarina as a store selling fabrics. Today, its doors are open to the public at a different address at Rua de 31 de Janeiro. In this establishment, with a tradition of over 140 years, you can nowadays buy products of a very different nature from those initially sold in the Department Stores, such as puzzles, postcards, souvenirs and handicrafts of Portuguese production, allowing you a short trip through culture of our country.
