Founded on April 2, 1949, Retina Óptica has always sought to combine three values that it considers essential to the profession of opticals / opticians: the solidity of a house with family tradition; the professional attitude that positions her at the forefront of the market and the work done in close collaboration with ophthalmologists. From this point of view, Retina is made up of a team of well-prepared professionals who, in a personalized manner, serve clients with rigor, seriousness and attention, constantly seeking to find the best answer to their specific needs. Since 1949, but permanently updated, Retina is a reference brand in the sector.

Inaugurated in 1976, the Farmácia Mafalda owes its name to its owner, Maria Aurora Carranho Mafalda. Initially installed in Monte Cativo street, in 1994 it was transferred to the current address. It offers several services, such as pharmaceutical counselling, pharmacotherapeutic accompaniment, measurement of biochemical and physiological parameters. Here you are able to measure levels of glycaemia, total cholesterol, triglycerides, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, weight, height, body mass index, among others. Its specialties are dermocosmetics, veterinary products, having a space dedicated to animals, phytotherapy and childcare articles, with articles for babies and children.

Opened in 2019, it sprang from the dream of Tiago Fontes, a barber for over a decade, of having his own space. Thus was born L’Atelier TF, which combines the traditional with the contemporary. In the decor you will notice this, with the stone walls, the worn wooden floor and simple furniture with antique leather sofas. Instead, barber chairs are new but vintage. This space offers barber and hairdressing services, in a space that, although unique, is divided into two. At the entrance is the area for beards and men’s hair, while at the back of the store is the ladies’ nook. It also sells products from mostly natural product brands such as Reuzel or Milk Shake.
